Titleist Pro V1

Titleist Pro V1
Introduced in 2000, the Titleist Pro V1 revolutionized golf ball technology with its breakthrough multi-layer design that delivered both exceptional distance and incredibly soft feel—a combination previously thought impossible.

Why It's Popular
The Pro V1 has become the most played ball on professional tours worldwide for good reason. Its proprietary urethane elastomer cover provides outstanding greenside spin and control, while the high-performance core generates consistently long distance off the tee. The ball's penetrating trajectory cuts through wind effectively, and its durability means it maintains performance round after round. Golfers appreciate the immediate feedback and responsive feel on every shot, from driver to putter.

Who It's For
This ball is ideal for skilled players with swing speeds above 90 mph who demand tour-level performance. Low-to-mid handicappers benefit most from its spin characteristics and workability, particularly those who prioritize short game control. If you can compress the ball properly and want to shape shots with precision, the Pro V1 delivers professional-grade results without the premium price tag when purchased used.

Did You Know?
In its debut year, the Pro V1 won 47 times on the PGA Tour—more victories than all other ball brands combined.
