TaylorMade TP5x

TaylorMade TP5x
Launched in 2017 alongside its softer sibling the TP5, the TP5x revolutionized tour performance with its innovative 5-layer construction that delivers exceptional distance without sacrificing control.

What Makes It Popular
The TP5x has become a favorite among better players for its explosive speed off the driver while maintaining precise greenside spin. Its firmer feel compared to the standard TP5 produces a piercing ball flight that cuts through wind, making it ideal for players who prioritize maximum distance. The proprietary Tri-Fast Core and Dual-Spin Cover work together to optimize performance across every club in the bag, from long irons to delicate wedge shots.

Who It's For
This ball is designed for low-to-mid handicap golfers with faster swing speeds who want tour-level performance. If you're seeking aggressive distance off the tee, workability on approach shots, and consistent performance in all conditions, the TP5x delivers. It's particularly suited to players who prefer a firmer feel and higher launch compared to softer urethane balls.

Did You Know?
The TP5x made headlines when Dustin Johnson rode it to victory at the 2020 Masters, marking TaylorMade's first-ever major championship win with a golf ball.
